Vaccination Info and Fees

On Vaccination Clinic days, bring your pet to our office anytime between the hours of 9 a.m. and 2 p.m.  No appointment is needed.  Debit, credit, cash or check are accepted forms of payment.

Cause for Paws assumes you are bringing us a healthy pet for vaccinations as we do not perform health checks.  Vaccinations are given to healthy pets only.

Puppies and kittens can begin their distemper booster shots at 6 weeks of age.  We do not vaccinate puppies under two pounds. They will receive a total of 3 injections, 3-4 weeks apart.  Feline leukemia boosters can be given starting at 9 weeks old.  They receive a series of two, 3-4 weeks apart. If you go over the time frame between injections, you will have to start over.

Rabies can be given at 3 months old.  Yearly, thereafter, rabies and parvo/distemper shots are given to dogs and rabies, distemper and leukemia are given to cats.
